writes: hi, I'm 19, and at uni, and recently I've started fancying a guy on my course. I would like to move things onto the next level (ie dating), but I'm a bit worried because I'm an athiest, agnostic type, and he is very christian (he carries a pocket bible around with him!). I'm an open minded kind of person, but I generally steer clear of the heavily religious, and though the guy in question hasn't made any attempts to convert me, some of his friends have. We joke around between lectures, and are friendly and have a few mutual friends, but generally we hang out with very different crowds. I'm concerned that our different beliefs might cause problems. I'm also worried that I may have put him off me, as I accidentally told him two days ago how I kissed my best friend (a guy, who has a girlfriend) when we were drunk a few months ago, and now I wonder if maybe he won't want me anmore, as I am not as virtuous as he is. help needed!

...This situation is so simple: girl fall with love with a guy... But they have a different believes and different styles of life... Dont worry that much... If he like you he will try to understand you, BUT you try to understand him too... I am Christian too. Most of my friends are christian too, and i never had any relationships with non christian guys. I think that you should figure out he if he is seriour about you as more as just a friend, or he just trying to bring you close to God, and Church... I think that to have Christian friend, boyfriend/husband is the BEST what ever could happen... My fiance is Christian too, and i am so happy and proud!!! ... maybe i will add some more later on... GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
