We've been talking for quite a while now and we are finally going to meet each other for the first time on Friday, we're going to see the new movie identity thief. I'm a little nervous because I've never met a guy through the Internet before so it's a bit weird for me. Why am I so nervous to meet him?!! FYI he is a real person because he use to date this girl I knew and we have alot of mutual friends.

 Stage fright :). I think it's normal if you are a little nervous. This is a first for you , your first Internet date, always a bit awkward. And , regardless of how you found him, it is a first date , with someone whom you sort of like and, I suppose, want to be liked by- you don't know if it will happen, how things will go, if he'll be impressed favourably or if you'll make a fool of yourself ( no you won't, don't worry ).
Since you know the guy is who he says he is, and you have mutual friends, and you are meeting in a public place, I'd say you are playing it safe enough. Just ,of course , do not follow him to his place or out of town or anywhere non public on a first date, and , if you really want to play it really safe , arrange for your own transportation, don't get into a car with hum yet. This may sound slightly paranoid but, Internet waters can be very murky, and if you don't know much about this guy , other than he is good looking, better safe than sorry.
Other than that , relax, be yourself, try to have fun, hope in positive developments... and don't be upset if there aren't. It is just a date !, not a life altering event. If you click, great- if you don't - no prob, next.
