He lives in the same country (though diff nationality) but is overseas on work contract at present. He seems so sweet and extremely enthusiastic about me but after 2 wks of broken msn conversations, he is already saying he loves me. I find this a little odd as I think he's in love with an idea of me (as he doesnt kno me though he thinks he does). He tells me all the time that its real but I mean, do people really think they can fall in love over a computer half way cross the globe, in such a short time? Part of me finds his enthusiasm refreshing (who doesnt like feeling wanted) but part of me feels worried that i'm just lonely and enjoy the attention. Im not naive about the dangers faced with online dating and i sometimes feel concerned as his feelings seem quite intense at times. Part of me thinks dump him while its still early cos he seems a little wacko but part of me is scared that i could be throwing away the chance of happiness - i feel stuck and could really use some feedback, thx

Alarm bells would be ringing to me. No I dont think people can genuinely fall in love over a pc screen. Especially not within a week!
He sounds a bit of a fantasist, and you sound like you are flattered.
But I find it hard to get my head round long distance relationships anyway, particularly when people haven't even met.
Real life relationships are way more ideal.
Tread carefully. And run for the hills if he starts mentioning money.
