writes: hey, i think i have a problem. i am really obsessed with my weight, sometimes i have thought of becoming bulimic but have thought better of it as to be honest i hate the feeling of throwing up and i know it is stupid so i wouldn't ever do it. but my weight really gets me down, i am 5.1 and 7st and a size 8, and i know that this isn't fat at all it is normal but i am really still bothered about it, i think about it all the time, it takes me a long time to get ready in the morning as i have to find the most sliming outfit, am i ok? Oh my god!! You are 16-17, 7st && a size 8, && you think your fat!! Im 8st 3 && a size 8, so you have absoulty nothing to worry about honey. Its good you dont want to be bulimic. Just wear what you want in the mornings!

I think everyone today has some hang ups about the way they look. We have it rammed down our throat how thin we're supposed to be all the time, I don't think any of us are ever happy with our bodies, no matter how thin we end up. Size 8 is 2 sizes below the average dress size of a woman in Britain so you are definitely not fat! I think you are worrying too much about this and it needs sorting.
I know how you feel, I don't think many women go through their lives, or even a day without wondering whether they've eaten too many calories etc. The problem is when it becomes so serious that it ruins your life and you think about things like making yourself sick, as you have done. I'm glad you say you would never do that, it's silly and dangerous.
Maybe speak to a counsellor about how you feel. Once you're in this rut, no amount of people telling you you look find will work, you need professional help to sort yout confidence levels out. Speak to someone you trust and get in touch with your doctor.
Don't let this become an issue. Everyone wants to look good but the most important thing is to be healthy, mentally and physically. You will probably never be 100% happy with your body but you obviously have some problems if you think you're fat at size 8. Get that help and sort this now, before it becomes even more of a problem.

darling don't do anything mad i used to be really obsessed with my weigh i stopped eating and i went to hospitaljust be happy with your weigh just try not to eat bloated foods because that makes you feel fat believe me just stay away from that and just present your self good luck darling

Hi Honey,You are very young and I think this interest in weight is a natural thing that girls of your age go through. I did and weighed the same as you do at your age. All magazines stress the size 0 and have very slim models. I would say you are perfectly slim for your age and should concentrate on wearing lovely clothes that set of your figure. I wouldn't try to get any slimmer because you are in perfect proportion to your height and anything less that 7 stone could be dangerous health wise. I would think about makeup and clothes and not concentrate on the actual weight side of things , think more about what you look like done up when you are going out and channel your interests into this area. As long as you eat healthily and regularly and exercise you will be fine. Be proud of your figure and show it off!
