writes: i was with my ex for two years he moved away for a year of this and we gradually drifted apart i recently got back in touch with him and met up and it was back to the way it was. But sometimes he tells me he stil loves me and wants me forever the next i get the impression he wants me to leave him alone and he doesnt seem to care am i being taken for a ride?

 It all sounds complicated - maybe his life is too busy for the sort of relationship you aspire to right now. I don't think it matters if us agony aunts think you are being taken for a ride...the big question is 'do you think you are being taken for a ride?'. You are bound to have a gut feeling about this and should run with it because this sounds like an on-off sort of thing that could go either way.
