maybe he does have just good girl friends, alot of boys do and when there good friends with girls they tend to hug them.. if you've been in a relationship for a whole year you have absolutly nothing to worry about, especially if yous are still going strong, he must love you and you should take that for granted. cause not everyone can find a love like that.

I think your intuitions are correct young lady - I knew a man who was very flirty at work and he used to hug various women - usually the good looking ones! - In the end he ended up having an affair with one of them!
See if your boyfriend hugs any "plain looking" girls and then you'll know!

You run the risk of being a controlling girlfriend if you demand he stops. The girls all know he is with you so they probably see him in exactly the same way as a gay man. They hug him because he's safe and it means nothing.
Was he like this when you met him? Are you trying to change him now you are with him?
Try and take it on the chin and accept that he can hug friends and it mean nothing. But if you can't control your jealousy then talk to him and ask him to stop it.
Good Luck!! xx
