Last Friday I started penicillin for tonsilitus, one day after that on the Saturday I finished my pack of contraceptives, I finished my pencillin on Friday and was due to take my new pack of pills today, we have had unprotected sex on the Friday just gone and yesterday and not planning on taking my pill again, could I be pregnant already and will my chances of concieving be greater as I've had antibiotics? It confuses me x

If you need advice on conceiving, search the web.. There are a lot of good resources out there from reputable sites like webmd, medicinenet and others that hand out their tips for free as opposed to having to pay for a book that was most likely compiled from the same information and packaged with a lot of so-called testimonials. Search the web before you purchase any such books, unless you know for sure that it's a reputable book that real people, you know will vouch for.. ie family, friends or your doctor.

Antibiotics have nothing to do with conceiving as far as I can see.... however, they can stop your pill from working. (the chemist should have told you about that)
If you have only just come off the pill I would be very surprised if you are pregnant already as it may take your body a month or two to get back into full swing. (Same as all the weird things that happen when you first go on the pill)
I know you are excited but chill out and give it time, other wise you are going to get stressed out and worried and disappointed when your period comes next month and that CAN have an affect on conceiving.
Good Luck!! xx
