And if i start a conversation he'll keep it going... usually for longer than it needed to go. What do you think?

 He seems to find you really interesting, and he wants to get to know you more. I'd say that this guy is definitely curious about you, crushing on you. Go for it! Ask him if he'd like to get to know you over some coffee...?

 i think he definitely likes you. my b/f and i started out in a similar scenario. he was always being friendly and trying to make conversation. he's a people person but he always paid extra attention to me. i gradually opened up to him and now we headed towards getting married. i'm not saying your story will have the same ending as mine but why dont you try opening up a bit you might have a lot in common and well, who knows what the future holds for u!
