He says he loves me and wants to be with me forever, so why has he not finalised his divorce?

Ive been dating a man 2yrs who is married happly married so he he said in the begining.A year into the relationship she had found out he had been telling me he loved me this infromation came from text messages on his phone . They have been separrated for over a year and in no time she had her what she had claimed was her best friend moved in with her. They are now a couple. She told him it waspart of there journey together. He convinced me he had filed for divorce with papers drawn and all. Well when I ask him when he is going to get the divorce finallized he throws a great big fit.He has came up with every excuse possiable and even resorts to violence when questioned about the sitution.He says he loves me and wants to be with me forever ?? Help What the heck is he doing

Resorts to violence? Time to move on, I think. No wonder she got out when she did. I think you see too much in this guy. He's not finalized his divorce, he's making excuses and he's being violent. I would move on from him for your own safety.
