writes:Ok so basically, I met this guy in September of 2006. I fell for him straight away, maybe it's not love but i know he's all i care about. We started going out in December 2006 and it was perfect. I'd never felt like this before. But a couple of weeks ago we broke up, he's moved on to another girl who i know and he's really happy with her, but every now and again he tells me he misses me and wishes he could still be with me. i asked him that he could if he wanted to but he replied with 'i cant, because my friends dont like you.' i appriciate that he wouldn't want to lose friends for it but if he likes me as much as he says, why would he care what his friends think?please help me.x

I find it suspicious when a guy says "I want you" even though they are supposively happy with someone else. I've met a lot of guys who are always still stuck on the last girl. If you go with him he might do the same thing with this other girl behind your back.

I kind of find "I want you" but he's dating someone else suspicious. I know a lot of guys who is always telling the last girl it's them they really want them.
My boyfriend had to choose between me and his friends and he felt they should be happy for him & if they couldn't do that they weren't real friends. Friends are important but there are guys who will say "Screw you for not respecting my choice."

He could be using this as an excuse. But he sounds like a bit of a loser if he wont go out with you cause his friends dont like you. If i was you i would find someone who isnt ruled by there idiot friends. If you go back out with this guy, and his friends say anything, he could end up dumping you again. I wouldnt risk your heart with this guy. Find someone else and make him realise what hes missing. But dont take him back.
