writes: I had a crush on this guy in my school and i told my friend about it and at lunch she asked the guy out and he said yes. But not for two weeks cause he just got out of a relationship with his ex and needed some time to get over her. Now, halfway through the first week, he gets back together with the girl that he just dumped cause she cheated on him and i spent half of the day balling my eyes out and I'm still not done, what should i do?

Well it looks like he's still attached to his ex and that means he probably will be attached to her for a while. Meaning he won't have those kind of feelings for anyone else but her.
When this happened to me I tried to get back with the guy, but he just pushed me further away. Unfortunately things only went downhill from there because I ended up in the "friend zone" when he finally broke up with his ex. So my advice is for you to find someone else who doesn't have extra baggage and who knows? Maybe he'll get jealous and come running back to you, but I'm not saying he will. I know it hurts now but if you cut of contact with him it will be easier for you to move on.
