We met when we were working abroad and clicked instantly. after the summer ended we decided to carry things on, even though he lived in Germany and i lived in england cheap flights meant that we saw each other every two weeks and we talked everynight on the phone and on skype. i was convinced he was the one and he told me he wanted to marry me but then last week, completely out of the blue he told me he wanted to end things. to say i was shocked was an understatement, only three nights before he wrote me a letter telling my i was all he ever wanted. i just dont know what happend and now im devestated. how do i get over somthing like this? i dont even know what happend.

He suddenly got cold feet and realized that he'd jumped in too soon. This sometimes happens, with men and women who haven't taken enough time to get to know each other. Never speak to him again, cease all contact adn make sure you keep busy with work, friends and hobbies. It will take time for you to get over him, but I promise there is a better guy that that out there for you who will be sure about how he feels. Just take it slow.
