This guy was then saying that he wasn't sure if he ever felt anything for me and when I asked if he "100% wanted to forget about me" he said "I think so... Yeah" and now, me and my friend have noticed that he keeps looking at me and also its like he is trying to be near me but makes it look like he is talking and play fighting with my friend.  hi, i wouldn't waste any more time on this guy, he seems to be playing some sort of mind game with you, he has told you 100% he wants to forget about you, when he doesn't know anything about you which I think is really lame, the whole point of dating somebody is to get to know them! and that should go on for quiet some time!
be the stronger person here hun, don't pay him any more attention, move on and enjoy yourself with other company, he will eventually see what he's missing out on. You deserve better than to be messed around by this guy!

he knows you have fallen for him,he may be doing that because he realized he cares about you or is just playing a game with your head.
ask him why he keeps looking at you and seems to want to be near you,this may save you heartache coz you will keep falling for him thinking he cares
ask him or get your friend to do it
