 Wait until he gets out of prison, even if that is in a few months times, because you cannot have a real relationship when someone is in prison.
I cant say if he is using you as you have not given enough detail, just give him time and see if he does contact you.
But be aware that he could be talking to all sorts of different women while he is locked up, you will only be able to tell whether he is genuine or not once he has been let out of prison.
