Hi I went out with a guy for 2 and half years and we were in love but I ended it as he wasn't around for any more, I changed my mind but he didn't want to get back together a wk or two later we spoke about it and he said he didn't love me any more. I didn't try and change his mind as to me his answer was final. A month later he was dating someone else, which lasted about a year. They broke up I met him one night, he was out with his friends so he had a few drinks and he then said he still had feelings for me. I took it, it was the drink talking so didn't entertain it. Was I right?

Uncle Sneaker agony auntIt may be true or it may not be true, but if he said it while he was drunk then you can't rely on it.

For many men, women somehow become far more attractive and desirable after a few drinks.

I know your question is completely serious, but the answer is in an old joke of a man in a pub who kept taking a photo out of his pocket every time he finished a drink, staring at it and then ordering another drink. When the barman asked him what the photo was, the man replied that it was a photo of his wife. "When I look at the picture and feel the desire to make love to her," the man explained, "I know I've had too much to drink and it's time to go home."

mmm maybe not, i think it can depend on the person or the situation but talking from my experience the truth seems to come out after a few drinks, kinda makes people lose their inhabitions and not be so nervous likethey normally would when stone cold sober.
