i have been in a sexual relationship with a male friend for approx two years after i moved from our hometown he told me he loved me, but after this incident i he has been very distant with me. did he mean it when he said he loved me?

good question, i have resolved a few ones like this. I don't know the guy but if he said it he probably meant it but if your relationship is just sexual then he's probably worried that you don't feel the same try to treat him to a romantic day rather than just sex because thers more to love he may have meant it and now scared of commitment or he is worried about scaring you away the question you should be asking is only to yourself do you love him? if so tell him that and try to have a good time but leave sex till l8r

i think you should ask him again and if he means it because you need to know for peace of mind you need to know why he is being distant maybe he is just waiting for your response or maybe he is scared to say anything else incase he looses you
