writes:I have been dating this guy for about 2 months now. We were doing great for a while but now he seems to cancel every other date we have. Two weeks ago I told him that I felt that he isn't really interested in me and tried to end the situation, but he came back with many reasons why we should give this a try. So I gave it another shot. Today he text and canceled our dinner date. I told him that I was tired of this and that if he didn't want to date me he should just tell me. He responded by telling me "It will get better soon, I promise :)" When I told him I wasn't going to hold me breath, he said "I will be in touch real very soon." Should I stop wasting my time and just tell him I don't want to try anymore. I do want to see him more, but I know I'm going to get hurt.

Hey there. Yep, we've all been there! i think it's good to back off a little and let him come to you. Sometimes this will make guys fear losing you - and they'll bounce back to you, making more of an effort than if they feel trapped or coerced into doing something. Sometimes you have to show a more mysterious side, have your own life, and then watch him swing by, hoping for a spot in your life :)

that's a familiar story for me. No, it's not going to become better, only worse. he is keeping you on a leash, just in case he wouldn't find anyone to spend time with.
Don't do anything, just don't response to him, this is what they do, they don't have to really like you to be w/you, thay can just keep you among 5 others.
