writes:I was with my boyfriend for a year and almost 4 months and we were fine, we argued a few times like people do.We always told each other if we didnt like something that one of us had said or done.He would tell me he loved me and i would tell him i loved him and he said he wants to be with me forever. I believed him, but all of a sudden he kept giving up our time and going out with his mates to band practise more often and things, then the weekend just gone 26th/27th jan he didnt see me because he went out with his mum and he said we'd do something on sunday but i wasnt allowed round to his house because his parents said so.Then yesterday he comes round and i was like yayyy! and i went to hug him and he said 'no' and i said 'whats wrong' he said 'i dunno how to tell you' i said 'youre leaving me?' and he said yes and i burst out crying.He said i dont make him happy anymore.Whats up with him? has he found someone else (he says he hasnt)I phoned him crying and he said he doesnt love me and doesnt wanna talk. Well at the end of the day, you have to get over this. Hes said he doesnt have the feelings anymore and thats that. You cant make him love you. At the end of the day he hasnt (that you know of) gone out and met someone new before ending it with you. It sucks at the moment for you but he hasnt actually done anything wrong that you know of but be honest? Im sure he did value you as a person, and i dont nesassarily agree with the other aunt in saying he didnt. He simply felt it was time to move on, and he does have the right to do that? Tough as it may seem for you.

reader, anonymous, writes (29 January 2008): Hi, I can understand how painful this situation for you can be. The reality is that he said he wasn't happy, and that he didn't love you anymore. Why stress over someone who doesn't see your value? Whether he found someone or not is questionable, my opinion is he probably was cheating and then decided to leave you for her. Sorry to hurt your feelings but guys are really not that difficult. I have been through the same situation, and the result is yup there was someone else. so just be strong and get over that loser, it is his lost sweety!
