Sometimes he lashes out when people touch him, but he only tolerates it from a couple of people - me and a few of my friends. He doesn't touch people himself a lot - there's only a couple. Like he constantly hugs one of my friends - Rihannon. But with me, he pats me on the head instead. I was talking to my friend about it, and she said that apparently I give off the impression that I don't like being hugged. Does the head patting/hugging mean anything? I know he has lots of female friends but it's only me and this other girl that he seems to touch. Reply to this Question Share |

Well he obviously feels comfortable around you and rihannon, therefore only touches you two. He may like the other girl in a different way if hes constantly hugging her coz it shows he likes being close to her. Whearas a pat on the head is what you do more for some1 like your sister. Unless you have reacted weirdly to when he does/did hug you, making him think you don't like hugs

Maybe, next time when he is giving out hugs to your friends, tell him , 'Give me a hug!'
Head patting and hugs may not mean the same thing. If he head pats you , he could be treating you like a little girl or like you said, you give the impression that you don't like hugs.
