He would not give me a reason as to why he was calling. He recently found out I was divorced. Haven't heard back from him and I have not called him. What is going on?

Unless he SAID explicitly that he was going to call you again (in which case, I have no idea how to answer this question), my bet is that he's waiting for you to call him. By calling you and laying out all his feelings for you, he put the ball in YOUR court for the call back.
If you are interested, you call him!!

P.S. AskEve has a good point, he might have been drunk. But who knows? If he didn't seem drunk, he's probably sitting around waiting for you to call him right now!

How long did this conversation last? Was it late at night? Chances are it was someone who admired you years ago, has had one too many drinks and has been thinking of you and called you while he had the false courage of the booze in him. Did he sound as if he had a drink in him? Do you actually know this man? Did he give you a name?
