He gave me every single sign of liking me, but he never made a move on me and always wore a ring. He didn't ask me to hang out much, but he gave me tons of compliments and seemed to genuinely like me. I figured he was just shy.I found out today that he's just been waiting for his ex gf (since last year and the ring is from her) to come back to him. I feel so used and empty. He's been playing me for so long. I think he just wanted to know he was still attractive and liked knowing that I like him. I don't know what to do. I don't know how to forget him.Do you think he knows what he's been doing is wrong or is he too self absorbed to realize? I hurt so much and can't stop crying. I feel like my heart's broken :(

He knows what he's been doing. Guys like this always know. Of course your heart's broken. And rightfully so. So make sure you ditch him and cut all contact. Then spend all the time in the world focusing on yourself and having fun. The important thing is to take time getting over him. You'll get there.
