(I pretended not to notice)Last night I went to an event at the bar which he helped to organise, and though he obviously knew I was there and spent half the time looking in my direction, he completely ignored me when we passed as I was leaving with my friend.We've been good friends for quite a long time and share many similar interests - not to mention doing the same classes at college, which is how we met - and he also tells me things he doesn't tell other people (like how some of his gf's friends annoy him).I'm too old for these stupid games, but I don't want to lose him as a friend - what is he up to?

Sounds like you like him. Depends obviously what you want but if you want some fun too, bend over again for him and catch him off guard looking up ur skirt. Then it's up to you whether to shout at him or wink at him n give him a better view. x

what makes you think he won't do it to you.
its kinda hard.
but good luck with whatever he's doing.
i'd say don't do anything and let him do all the work.
like "play hard to get" cause if he really likes you
he won't just give up.

And if it is what you say that their relationship is (serious) then i think that you're just a friend to him which sometimes he likes to flirt with. Seeing as you probably just want to be friends with him i would just carry on with the way things are, after all he's flirting with you just for the fun of it, not for it to lead into anything else.

 He likes you as a friend and someone to talk to but he HAS a girlfriend. He likes to flirt but then what guy doesn't, he may even be leading you on but rise above it. Don't get involved with him when he's with someone else, you'll only come off as the loser and lose his friendship into the bargain so ignore his flirtyness and be his friend only.

 Maybe he lost his pencil and was checking to see if it could have slipped up your skirt? LOL.
If he's just a friend and that's how you want it to stay, I wouldn't read too much into his behavior. If you want more than that, which it sounds like you do, you may need to be a little more aggressive.
