reader, anonymous, writes (15 November 2010): meh..... so much drama and heartache awaits you... if i was you i would cut it off now, painless and soon enough. i am not saying he doesnt deserve to make up his life, it's just that he can do it with someone else. why do YOU have to be the one dealing with all this? do what is best for you.

 Well, how enthusiastic are you about being a stepmom? How long have you been dating the guy? Are you really into him? What does he intend to do if the child is his? Are you sure this child was conceived before you came along? How long until she finds out who the father is?
If you like this guy, you can stay around and get confirmation. And if you're willing to accept a child around and this other woman who now plays a big part in his life, then fine. But if you don't want to get involved with that, just don't. If you're already dubious, I'd just break it off now and not get involved with potential drama.
