writes:[Moderator's Note: 2 questions from the same poster have been merged into 1 question]hi my name is ally and i started going 2 a youth group almost 2 mon. ago. i met this guy named, mitch. ive been friends with him 4 almost the whole time ive been going. i think he likes me but he flirts with other girls and i think it might be just a little different with me, but im not sure? im not aloud 2 date, but i really like him, what do i do? ive also never kissed anyone and ive really been wanting to lately, but im always scared of getting mono:( please help me, i want some real advice.i like this guy and im not sure if he really likes me back? he has been sitting next 2 me almost every week at my youth group, he stares at me a lot, he flirts a lot, always comes up to me after a service for a hug, he is always happy and playful with me, but he laughs and flirts with other girls too. im not sure really if its any different with me? does he like me?

 My boyfriend was like that when I first met him. I'd gone with my friends to hang about with some older kids at school and he would just flirt with my best friend non-stop. After a while, I started seeing him out of school and then I started talking to him online and texting him. Then whenever we were at school we'd have our own little jokes and we'd sit and shared earphones. Then, because I spoke to him more than the others and I got to know him, he asked me over to his house and he asked if I would like to be his girlfriend (I said yes and we're still going strong). The moral of the story is to just have courage in your own ability and get close to him until you are allowed to date :-) Hope this helps! Good luck x

he likes you but also he's probably flirty by nature. some people just are. if your not allowed to date then it hardly matters yet but you're gonna have to step it up because it sounds like you are probably not the only girl with your eye on that particular boy. expect competition.

 If he's flirting with other girls then it's clearly not just you he's interested in, maybe catch his attention more or ask him to hang out with you sometime outside of the youth group and ask him about it maybe but he sounds like hes just a womanizer so don't be too hopeful
