My current boyfriend does not trust me, i have doen nothing to cause this distrust, he sectretly checks my phone for text messages or calls that i have both recieved and made to male friends, yesterday he asked to use my phone and secretly erased a friends number off of it, we constantly fight and it always boils down to the trust issue, could this relationship work or am i waisting my time and should i just move on?

A female reader, LEXI8580 +, writes (23 December 2005):

If your not doing anything to cause the distrust then the problem lies with him and not with you and no matter what you do or say to him this isnt going to get any better for you chick. If you really think this is worth fighting for then you could try sitting him down and having it out once and for all and just say that this is his last chance to trust you or your leaving for good. My opinion would be to move on now before you go crazy because this issue will never really go away and do you really want to have to give up all your male friends and be checked up on for the rest of you relationship? Dump him and find someone that will trust you! Good luck x
