i think you should talk to your mate, hes treating herand probably all other women like toys! its discrimination! girls love to have big romantic gestures! like go to her house and say listen he doesn't like you the way i do! then walk towards her and kiss her! i garentee she'll kiss you back and realise that your the one she's liked all along. if you do something to that affect then please oh please let me know how you get on that would be so romantic! mates will be there no matter what and if hes a true friend he won't be bothered over a girlfriend, now go 4 it!

Giveher your friendship and make her feel comfortable with you. She will trust you enough to confide in you and when he dumps her (and he will), you will be around to pick up the pieces and glue her back together again. She will lean on you and that will lead to a relationship.
Meantime, dont make remarks/comments or voice an opinion to either of them. You're their friend remember.
