writes: me and my girlfriend have been going out for 4 months now, and everythings been perfect between us, but she lives about 30 minutes away from me and i'm not driving right now because i have a suspended license. so it makes it really hard to see her when i want to, or when she needs me the most. lately shes been feeling depressed and just doesn't sound herself on the phone, but i constantly remind her that i'm always here for her and she can talk to me about anything thats on her mind. she tells me that i can't really help her with anything that shes going through right now because she says she has to deal with it on her own. and i'm fine with that, but i feel like i can do more to help her out...and i'm scared that shes going to break down about her depression and try and break up with me, even though i haven't done anything wrong. i love her very much and care about her more than anything in this world..what advice do you have for me with this situation?

the first bit of advice i'd give is dont get your license suspended! If it's meant to be it'll work itself out. Of course she'll feel a bit down, but just imagine the look on her face when you do meet up again. That kind of moment will stay with the both you and you need to be reminded of things like this is you're both to last the distance issue. Romantic gestuers is something else you can try to keep her interested. Send flowers to her home. Write her a letter (not an email). Keep her interested
