 Actually, my mom used to draw me a bath as hot as you can stand it and sit in the tub until the water cools off...my period started the next day. It's worth a shot!

 Yes this is your period brown blood is a sign of old blood this occurs before you start your period and also after it ends (sometimes through out the whole period cycle) this occurs in my period sometimes. sometimes for me it is just regular blood and other times it is all just old blood (brown)
there is really nothing you can do to make it "happen sooner"
in less you talk to your doctor and he/she prescribes a birth control that can make your cycle regular
or you can just be patient with it and let it do it's natural thing
