yes, im going through that right now. it seems like it started right after i broke up with my ex, who was also my first love. he was who i lost my virginity to and he broke my heart by telling me he didnt want a relationship but ended up with another girl. it took me months to get over him. i cried every night and had the onlyyyy self pity for myself. i finally got over him when i found somebody else. then we stopped talking and im back to being alone. i get most depressed when im in my room alone. thats when i have nothing but TIME. time to sit and think about all the bad things goin on in my life. and at those moments, i dnt even remember all the good things. idk how to overcome it, and at times i just feel its too much. but i take it one day at a time. and listenin to songs that i can relate to make me feel like im not alone. just keep your head up and pray. were both gunna make it through this. i believe its a phase, so itll pass. best of luck much loveee 3

all i can say is be patient and focus on the things that do make you happy, excited and even silly
if you have a good group of friends like i did they will be there for you, spend more time with them doing whatever just dont let yourself do nothing.....its alot easier to be depressed when nothing is going on
you'll find yourself slowly but surely getting better
what also helped me was writting, put your feelins on paper like a poem or song
but anyways i hope everything works out for you:)
all the best!

Hi
Yes i too remember feeling the same way as you when I was your age.
Its a period of change for your mind, your coming out of childhood into adulthood and its frustrating because you think you know it all but there is so much more to learn at the same time.
I think if you spoke to your mates alot of them can relate to the high and low moments.
I would advise you to just stay positive and you may get your off days, but dont worry, its all a natural part of change into adult life, your finding your own persona and coming into your own.
Goodluck!

Yes, depression is fairly normal for your age. Your body is going through a lot of chemical and hormonal changes. Therefore you might have periods of depression. I went through it myself.
What I found that helps is exercise and a healthy diet. Firstly, exercise releases endorphins which boost mood and it also helps you vent frustration and stress.I would start walking or running, maybe join a gym if it is affordable, practice yoga and pilates at home, join a dance class...just to give you a few ideas.

It doesn't mean you have any illness I've been really depressed through my teens too, but i've came through it. A lot of change is going on, chemical changes in your body. You should look for a professional so he can diagnose if its just a phase, or if your case fits in some kind of pattern. If so, he can prescribe some medication that will help you out. Dont get scared by me saying medications, people overreact to this term, its just a little push that can help the balance of your brain and let it function better. If prescribed by a reponsible doctor it can do wonder for you life quality. Wish you best of luck!
