writes:so there's this guy that i liked about a year ago, he sorta of seemed interested (we flirted and stuff) but i couldn't tell. after a verbal denial he gave someone else, i stopped trying; i don't get emotionally attached that easy, so it wasn't really a big deal. since i've stopped "like liking" him, i've come to think of J as a brother; I'm no longer nervous at all around him and am completely myself. recently i've kind of started seeing someone... we were hanging out at my place and the guy i used to likedJ showed up. he stood in the room across from us (with his buddy), but didn't they weren't talking to each other. me and my date were playing xbox, and all of the sudden J bursts out "i'm gonna go play my own games, enough of this shit" when clearly he had no obligation to be watching, and he kept staring at my date. over the days that followed he has been liking my stuff on fb (which he NEVER used to do, and i though odd it's just been all of a sudden). one day when he came over to see my roomy he came in (the front door was open, in summer it usually is) and he just stood there real quietly until i noticed (a couple minutes at least), then goes "took you long enough to see me" and goes to see his buddy. he also seems kinda hesitant to leave when it's just me and him talking as he's headed out the door. it could just be my imagination, but it definitely seems like things have changed. when he was asked about liking me or not before, he had mentioned that i wasn't his type (physically, because in every other aspect we are LOADS alike)... maybe seeing me with this other guy has triggered him? that's the only thing i can think of. ... what do you think? thanx so much in advance, xoxo

That might be it.
You could be right actually it seems like it.
Its certainly weird but you guys have drifted apart haven't you so he might be missing you as a friend or seeing you with somebody makes him think that he missed an opportunity or something.
I think with this J person you should maybe try to get this awkwardness out coz it seems like you guys are really awkward being in the same room (correct me if I'm wrong).
Honestly there isn't a point assuming or thinking about what could be the options coz asking him straight up would be awesome coz you dunno what he is feeling so its best if you ask him whats up or you uncomfortable around you. If it doesn't give you a good answer or you know it's not a good answer don't bother coz he will realise sooner or later that he has to tell you the truth.
