He tells me how nice of a person I am and he thinks am really pretty.Last night he was telling me about his ex gf. He said he misses her. But also said he misses me too and we have a date on monday.He asked if I talk to other guys I said yes.( I don't) he said if you like something you want it all to yourself but then told me to do whatever I like.He rang me this morning.  First of all why did you feel the need to lie to him?
Second if he cant cope with you talking to another guy then he's not good BF material. No one should dictate who you speak to or make you feel bad about who you speak to. Don't let him take up anymore of your thoughts. If he's meant to be with you it will happen so just sit back and see how it goes down.

 He's bored- texting and calling you while he's on holiday and also talking to you about his ex. He really doesn't show potential commitment... Listen to your friends, he's not worth it. ORif you're really really really into him. wait. give it more time to see if he does or says anything that shows affection towards you that is worth noticing. only WORTH NOTICING i.e. not talking about his ex to you, not trying to sweet talk to you, and is willing to give you space without complaining, etc, etc....good luck though xox
