reader, anonymous, writes (24 August 2007): I've never had oral sex but it seems to me that spiting afterward would ruin the mood. I've always viewed spiting as disgusting regardless of the circumstances. Sexual or not I see it like vomiting, no matter how romantic you may feel about the other person something like that is a turn off. If you feel you must spit then excuse yourself and do it out of sight and earshot. Or you could ask him to wear a condom. That would not only eliminate the problem of "spit or swallow" but also make it safer as it would prevent many STDs.
