reader, anonymous, writes (26 July 2009): Here is the bottom line. A man wants to get back with his ex is because, it was comfortable for him. It's hard for a man to be on his own. He knows that she would take care of him, no matter the cost to him. He doesn't like the one that got away mentality. If she is the one walking away from him. He needs to move forward, but he has to find that out for himself. He will be missing out on a lot of good things in his life. When he is older he will realize that it wasnt worth the trying.

Seeing what life is like without her, you dont realise what you have until its gone, its a shock to the system and you do all you can to gain back what you once had, change isnt always as good as it souns, guys need security, just as much as a woman they just dont show it.
When shes gone hes left thinking of all the good times and it hurts so much that he feels the need to get it back, all the bad times are forgotten. Its strange how the mind does that, its another sign of true love.
Sometimes guys just see what went wrong and they are willing to change in order to get her back.
The grass isnt always greener, although guys act like they dont care and they want to be the ladies man deep down they need that special one in there life, just like a woman does, it works both ways.
Ask the question yourself, reverse the rolls i mean what makes you want to get back with your ex? I think the same reasons apply its just women are more forward and open about it.
