writes: Guys is this sweet or weird? So I am a broke college student and I have no money to buy my boyfriend of almost two months a Christmas gift. (We were close friends two months prior) He insists on getting me something... but I keep telling him not to because I would feel bad not getting him anything.Well today I was thinking... my boyfriend is an instrumental music education major. We met in our University's marching band...I play the clarinet and he ways the Saxophone.I was wondering if it would be weird of sweet if I created a song for him on the music writing program. Thought about making it a clarinet/Saxophone duo.Is that creepy? Too much for just 2 months? Or do you think he will like it? I also found a cute idea online that said to give him a bag of Hershey Kisses and tell him to count those as his kisses from me when he eats them over break since we live 3 hrs apart and wont see each other for a month...too much? strange? or cute?

Depends on the song. If it is more cute/funny then super romantic, then it is fine, but girls tend to get a bit overboard. If you show him to much affection, then he might grow to confident. He got to miss you and worry a bit to keep him interested. "Does she miss me as much as I miss her" is better then "She misses me".
The candy is better, but keep it loose. 2 months is nothing and this will be your first separation. Wouldn't be the first couple to break up over Christmas.
One present is enough I think. Maybe add some real kisses.
Show him you care but don't tie him down... yet. That comes later.

Kiss idea is sweet and adorable and makes me smile. The song idea is also sweet, but too much. It creates more of an obligation for him to stay in the relationship no matter if something happens and he wants to walk away. (NOT saying that will happen). Save the big jestures for when you are 100% certain that the relationship will last for a very long time.
