Guys, after a fight with a girl, how would you act?

A female United Kingdom age 30-35, *olaBolla writes:

I had a fight with this on again off again guy of mine (he was being hypocritical and two-faced) half a year ago and we haven't spoken to each other since.

Yet, if we're ever at the same place (we have a circle of mutual friends)he'll always stands REALLLLY close behind me. He kind of just sneaks up behind me silently and stands there; I don't even notice he's there until I accidentally backed into him one time or his friends call out to him and he has to answer.

Or if I'm talking to mutual friends of ours, he'll enter the circle and stand next to me, and say hi to EVERYONE but me-- despite standing RIGHT next to me.

If he's trying to ignore me, why linger!? Is he trying to say he's sorry or....?

A reader, anonymous, writes (13 May 2011):

He might want to make it up with you and say sorry. Maybe he's a bit shy about it. Try talking to him a bit, and see if that can give you a better hint of what he wants to say.

A female reader, turtle escape United States +, writes (13 May 2011):

I think that hes wants to talk to you. He probably still has feelings for you but is afraid to talk to you first. I would maybe try talking to him on the phone or something first just so its not awkward.
