After a little while we were like let's go skinny dipping and we did. All of us except for a few people. Well we got busted. Our neighbor saw us and told my parents and now my parents are mad at me and my brother. The asked us if we have had sex. Awkward as can be and now like I'm so weirded out like I don't want to be around anyone. Any advice? Reply to this Question Share |

Good to hear that it blew over and you are still having fun with it.

Make your own morals. Decide for yourself who is in the wrong here: some teenagers who get together and go skinny dipping for fun? How about the nosy neighbor who spies on naked teenagers and runs tattle-taling to their parents. Probably they just wish they went skinny dipping when they were a kid. As for your parents, they're just being overprotective, which is what parents do. If they would calm down and think it through, they wouldn't interrogate you about having sex, they'd just tell you to use a condom. Don't feel awkward because you didn't do anything wrong.

I am surprised thats what first came to your parents mind. I would laugh this one off and make them feel stupid for thinking that. As for skinny dipping, what you do in your back yard is none of the neighbours business. If they don't like it they don't have to look. It would be worse if it was just the too of you but it wasn't and plus it was dark. I have done the same thing and the best thing to do is to laugh it off.

Seriously, the consequences of doing something risky and lewd is getting caught and dealing with the feelings of awkwardness and shame that go along with it. What do you want us to do? Make those feelings go away so you don't have to experience them? Sorry, no can do....you'll get owver it, own it and deal with it.

Don't go skinny dipping in a swimming pool where neighbors can see you. Problem solved.

You know I actually somehow got caught in this exact situation somehow (skinny dipping with my brother). The only thing we could do was just start making jokes and laughing about it, basically bonding over the experience. Instead of alienating each other, we realized it could be funny and we were both in the same situation.
