I am going to court and am due to be sentenced for assault. I have a record so have been told I'll definitely be going to jail. Since I've been with her I have been trying to stay out of trouble but this just happened. Her family think I'm trouble and always try to get her to stop seeing me but she has stayed with me until now. We found out last month that she is pregnant as well and she is going to have the baby.I want her to stay with me so bad especially with a kid on the way but don't know if I'm expecting too much. Any ideas on what I should do? Reply to this Question Share |

'just happened' - assault doesnt 'just happen', so stop trying to make excuses for wat you have done, did your past actions that have given you a record 'just happen' too? im sorry but you need to step up to the plate first and realise that things like this dont just happen, if they did we'd all be doing time.
second of all, you need to work on changing your ways and turning into a good father for this little baby. you cant be letting things just happen and get thrown into jail wen this little child needs you. as for her family, well i hate to say it but they were right

Her family was right about you so far... But the good news is that you can change your ways. When you get out of jail, you can step up and take care of the baby and be there for both of them. Since she has stayed with you this long maybe she will wait, but it's up to her to make the decision. Hopefully your time in prison will not be too long and you will be able to be there and help support her and the baby and change the current direction of your life.
