Thanks guys for the replies, especially birdynumnums, i love Al Green, so I may get one of his CD's and have a bit play of that.
I'm getting the usual wedding nerves right now. My son, aged 15 is throwing massive tantrums and doing a 'kevin' every day. My daughter is in hospital after having food poisoning and she is 3 months pregnant, so hopefully she is going to be better for the wedding. My grandson is (aged 1) just getting over chicken pox. But this is usual for my life, it hasn't been a straight forward route in life, as you will probably understand by my profile.
Well, thanks once again. much appreciated.
Take Care
Love xx

Hi Shandy Pop!
Best Wishes! I had a really traditional "Pachelbel's Canon in D", but there are sites where you can hear bits and pieces of traditional wedding marches. There is a web site where you can read the lyrics as well, www.romantic-lyrics.com. My daughter put a wedding traditional on my nanopod, it's a funkier version - "Air" - by the Klazz Brothers & Cuba Percussion from the movie "Collateral", it's very soft and has a little bongo rythem behind it! If your looking for something more modern or funky, I have always loved an old R&B song, "Let's Stay Together" by Al Green, the chorus is "Let's stay together, whether times are good, or bad, happy or sad". I know a lot of people love the lyrics to Peter Gabriel's "In Your Eyes". Anything by Sting (but then I'm a fan). Reebe had a good suggestion with something that means something to you both. I went to a second wedding recently, probably a bit older than you, and they had Adam Sandler's "I Want to Grow Old with You" for their first dance, everyone had tears in their eyes because it was so funny and sweet at the same time! (the lyrics are on that web site...).
Best wishes to You Both!
