Gaga for Lady Gaga!

Question - (9 July 2009) 4 Answers - (Newest, 9 July 2009)
A female United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

My husband has become completely obsessed with Lady GaGa. I mean obsessed!!

On the computer are hundreds of pictures and files about her, and even emails arranging to meet with her!

We barely have sex anymore, because he feels I'm not enough like Lady GaGa for him.

He's even said Lady GaGa has been sending him sexual emails. I doubt that's true, but he insists it is.

We've been rowing constantly about this, and previously he's never had any obsessional behaviours before.

Now he says he's going to meet her in a hotel - and it's been arranged via e-mail.

What should I do?

Apologies if this sounds weird or odd, but I don't think many of us have been in this situation before!

Azula agony auntI don't think I'm the right one for this but I'll share what I know and understand.

First confirm if it is really the star. It is not the like of stars to do that. You might not knowing Lady Gaga was just part of a front or a plot. He may be seeing other girls.

Second don't take any I mean ANY ferocious steps. You just might screw things up.

Your husband is in a bad condition or in the worst. Try seeing a counselor now.

I hope I've been able to set your mind in some aspects of the issue.

TELLULAH agony auntHi,

I think the only one thats Ga-Ga is your husband. Has he lost the plot?

I thought this was quite funny, but if you are serious it must be very distressing for you. You know he obviously must be lying dont you?

I really dont know what to tell you to do, except let him get on with his delusions and maybe it will pass.
