If you have had a period after the incident then it is highly unlikely you are pregnant.2. If you take the birth control pill then again, it is highly unlikely you are pregnant.3. If you used a condom and it didnt break then again, it is almost impossible that you or your girlfriend can be pregnant.5. If you have used both of the above contracpetive methods and have had a period, then categorically, NO you are not pregnant.6. If you have taken the morning after pill within 72 hours of the incident, then no you will not be pregnant. To all teens out there that think the morning after pill is a good form of contraception - NO it is not! This should be used in emergencies only i.e. when a condom breaks, when you have sex after you have missed your pill etc. If you want to have regular sex then please use condoms and birth control! This way you will never have to worry again!7. If you have missed your birth control pill (i.e. not taken it more than 24 hours after your usual time) then yes, you could be pregnant. Take a pregnancy test if your period does not show up.8. You cannot take a pregnancy test immediately after the incident/unprotected sex. It will not work. Only take the pregnancy test if you miss your period!9. Tiny amounts of sperm entering the vagina can get a girl pregnant - so ejaculating any where near the area can be a risk. This includes dry humping, sperm on fingers etc. However sperm cannot travel through clothing, or condoms so if either of these were in the way then pregnancy cannot occur.10. Using the "pulling out" method of contraception does not work! There is such thing as "pre-cum" that leaks out of the penis before ejaculation and this contains sperm, hence the girl can still get pregnant. Condoms and birth control are the only ways of safe sex that cannot result in pregnancy.11. If you are thinking of stopping using condoms once you are on birth control, then unless you are both virgins please get STI checks with each new partner you have! STI's can kill, leave you infertile and cause many more serious illnesses. It is not worth the risk so make sure you both get tested (men included!) before you start to have sex without condoms. And finally, Stop worrying! There are so many young guys on here worrying about their girlfriends "symptoms of pregnancy" - often this will just be a minor illness that a girl mistakes for being pregnant. Just because you feel sick in the morning does not mean you are pregnant, it is more likely to be a stomach bug or just something funny you ate the day before!Feel free to contact me with any further concerns but hopefully this should put all worried minds at rest!

but 1 minor niggle there is no absolutely safe form of contraception. the morning after pill is not 100% guaranteed, no condom is 100% guaranteed and they can and do split...
but excellent in other ways and needed to be said.
just thought of 100% way - keep clothes on and all bits inside clothes.
thank you this needed to be said.
