That's really not wierd, unless you are caught outside his house and stalking him! It's good to aspire to be like someone, or just admire someone. I admire people, who aren't footballers, and I would love to be like them... does that make me wierd?

We're all human, and all need someone to look upto, whether thats a celebrity, our parents, or a friend.

ilovebowsandcherries agony auntcourse it's not weird just means you admire them and hope to be somewhat like them some day

you want to be like them and follow there footsteps in some ways you look up to them to show you the way of your life.
