A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

So me and my boyfriend will have been together two years in september. We have gotten in our fair share of fights over him drinking, getting a job, that kinda stuff. Well recently he did get a job and his very first car and i am so very proud of him.. But hes becoming a jerk towards me hes had this job for about two months and ive never known how much he makes everytime i ask he says im giving him the third degree and tells me its none of my business.. and its the same thing with his car. He throughs the fact that he works in a plant 12 hrs a day and i work at a grocery store for 7 after i get out of school.. high school. We used to be amazing together and have so much fun and rarely fight, but now i feel like were drifting apart and theres nothing i can do. I love him with all my heart and hes my first im heartboken and want things fixed.. when i try to talk to him it always ends up my fault and in another fight.. What should i do to either fix things with us or just fix me?

well from what i can tell about this, there is nothing wrong with you, your boyfriend is the one with the problem here, he seems to think he is all that and a bag of chips because he has a car and a stable job or money coming his way so he thinks he is big man on campus, all you need to do is let him go and find someone else because he just isint worth it
