It is more rare than frequent, Most mis-car are due to falls or if your shaken by something. So jut make sure she doesnt over work herself, get pregnnancy leave early and not later. don't let her carry things that are too heavy and take her house load off herthis all helps.....i'm sure all will be fine.

It is nervous to be worried about your girlfriend and your baby seen as it is your first, but you just need to relax and take each week as it comes.
Miscarriages are fairly common unfortunately, especially in the first 3 months of a pregnancy. However there is nothing you can do to prevent them, they are just a sad fact of life I'm afraid. As long as your girlfriend is healthy and she is looking after her own body properly then the babies health should be fine too. Things like smoking and drinking can badly affect the babies health so your girlfriend shouldnt be doing either throughout the 9 months, and if possible keep her out of smoky environments.
Speak to your midwife about your concerns if they are really bothering you, they will be able to put your mind at rest. Just try and be supportive towards your girlfriend and dont worry too much, if your girlfriend gets stressed then that too will have a negative impact on the baby. I guess the important things during a pregnancy for your girlfriend is to try not to be stressed about anything and keep nice a relaxed, eat well (healthy foods from all food groups so the baby gets all the vitamins and nutrients it needs), dont smoke or drink alcohol, and to not do anything to physically demanding (so no high-impact sports or heavy lifting). If your girlfriend sticks to that then everything should go smoothly during the pregnancy.
Sometimes miscarriages and health problems occur even when the mum to be is doing everything she can to make the pregnancy run smoothly. There is just no way of telling if something like a miscarriage will happen, you just have to keep your fingers crosses that everything will be ok. And in most cases things to turn out ok, it is just an unlucky few that will miscarry.
I hope this helps and good luck!

you just need to relax try not to think of the negative at the moment everything should be fine just try not to think negative wait and see what the doctors say and take it from there.
:)
they're not rare it can happen to anyone.
as long as she's healthy and the baby is there is nothing to worry about just keep focusing ahead on the great side of things rather than thinking negatively :)
hope this helps :)
