It is almost accepted that men will masterbate, so why isn't this level of acceptance given to women making themselves aware of their bodies in a completely natural way. Just thought i'd see if there was any feedback on this subject be it the lack of acceptance for masturbation in general and any related history, thought it would be quite interesting, just to raise a little more awareness. Also cultural angles could be quite intersting... Reply to this Question Share |

It's coz in my opinion, men run alot of these things that radiate this idea, Its blatantly a double standard, the same with 'giving head' (m/f)(f/m) and the concept of too many partners. Men tip the scales in their advantage whenever they can.
If you ask me it's more normal for a woman to masturbate, Men are pulling their todgers way too much these days while sat in front of their computer screens, its gross, even some are 5 times a day. makes me sick. men should get their hands out of their pants. yet women don't masterbate that often and it's more genuine less of a quick wank more of a self love session.

I am glad you brought this up as i was thinking about it not too long ago!
Basically the situation of it around me is..
Men frequently and openly talk about masturbating and openly admit to female's that they do..however...female masturbation is NEVER mentioned..it's just this thing that nobody will admit to doing..i mean i personally think that everyone does it but to actually admit to others that you masturbate would be a complete shock horror!
And i don't particularly agree with that at all i think it should be the same with both men and women, maybe it changes as you get older but yeah through my time at school and now, never ever mentioned.
Good topic :)

i think that's a little old fashioned now. most people have excepted female masturbation and i think women are alot more expressive these days. sure the older generation may still see it as taboo. i think it is excepted these days and i don't think it is seen as taboo. maybe some religions and cultures have a different perspective on it, but i believe it is seen as normal.

personally, for me I don't see any difference between male and female masturbation. but as far as others, I don't know.
