writes: Hi,I've recently noticed that theres quite a bit of extra skin around my vagina. If i try to put my finger up my vagina i can feel flesh around the opening that sometimes slightly blocks it. Is this normal??? Will it make things difficult having sex as i'm planning on doing soon.thanks x

I know this may sound crude, but I suggest you use a mirror to look and see what is happening "down there"! Believe me, the more you know about how your body works, the easier and more pleasurable sex will become in future years.

Every girl is different. Sex for the first time is always going to be slightly painful, no matter what, but I wouldn't think it will make things difficult. Some girls have extra skin, some don't. But there's nothing abnormal about it. :)
