So here's the story in a nutshell...I work in a convience store/ gas station and my ex came in to buy beer and gas, pumped his gas and then came back in, bought some ice cream and sat in our little dining area and ate it then left without saying a word to me...all we said to each other was I said how ya been? when I rang him up and he said good and that he had put alot of money into his car.And he said he just thought he would stop in sinc he was in the area but what I want to know is why would he want to just "stop in" if he avoided my workplace at all costs right after we broke up? Am I just reading too much into this? Does it mean he was wanting to see me? any help or opinions would be appreciated! thank you

honey, this could mean either, he may have wanted to see you or he may have simply just stopped in.
it sounds to me like he wanted to see you as he did say he thought he would stop in. but i wouldnt read to much into as it might not mean anything, you may end up upset. the past should stay in the past.

He wants to see you one more time before he walks away for good. In other words, see if he still has any feelings for you at all. Based on what you just told us, you're just another working slag.
That may be good if you never want to see him again. I hate to think of a guy putting all of his money in his car, eating ice cream and drinking beer.
There's much more to life than that.
