The key to any successful relationship is communication. If you don't have it, how will you know what the other wants? I suggest staying friends and pursue someone with whom you can speak and understand. Your heart is getting ahead of your brain.

I guess if you work together, there must be a language that you both speak. Doesn't he speaks English? I know many couples who come from different backgrounds and languages, and they still make it. After some time you'll be improving your French and it just gets better. I suggest you give it a try! You can ask him to teach you, take lessons, watch French TV/Films, read magazines...it can never get worse...and I'm sure you'll improve.Take Care Girl!
