writes: Can someone help me out here! I really need to understand something before I lose my mind. My husband has had chronic impotence in the last few years.. it goes down when he enters. Also he has no sexual desire. But he never said he does not love me, or we should stop our marriage. But he went to several doctors and they could never really tell what was his problem because there was no medical issue, yet they could not find out why he is doing this psychologically. Well, it was investigated to death with no results.. But last night something weird happened. He got a bit drunk, he never drinks at all otherwise and he had a perfect erection. Totally perfect, never seen for years.. One more thing.. He usually takes like a herbal Viagra kind of thing, its just vitamins. that helps a bit in erection, but he mixed up the bottle, because the paper was ripped off and he just took a multi vitamin instead. so no help, from there. Just alcohol.. How could this happen???? I hope you can understand this complicated stuff.. Is he psycho?

 Like you stated it was all his mental condition and his thoughts, and the alcohol just cleared that from his mind and ta-da it worked. I know from experience people that drink have a lot less worries while they are lightly tipsy, and completely escaped the sadness of everyday life when drunk for a short period of time. Dont question it just go with it, if it works it works. I dont think their is any physical reason this would occur any way.

No, he's not a psycho. Clearly he has problems with intimacy, so when he has alcohol, it helps him to relax a bit more. Find out why he has problems with intimacy (gently), and you'll be able to open him up a bit more.
