writes:I've got this female friend who lives in another city and who I'm starting to get feelings for. We recently agreed I should visit her. She seemed really keen on it, saying how nice it would be to see me, how I should get there, asking when am I coming and things like that (as if to say, 'Come soon!'); and besides that seeming to be really into me and liking me in a more than friends sense. We didn't really agree on a day during that conversation, but we agreed that when I'd checked my diary I'd tell her. So after that I decided on a day, and phoned to tell her, and she said she couldn't on that particular day because she was visiting her parents, fair enough. But then I asked when I should come then, she just said, 'I don't know, I don't know when I'm free cause of work.' It felt wierd because she at least could say something like, 'I'm not sure, but phone me just before or something' but she didn't. So I ended up getting the impression that she didn't want me to come after all, even though nothing had happenned from one day to the next. I just don't understand, so enthusiastic one day, then the next, the opposite. What's going on inside her head? Why this sudden change, or am I just imagining it? Reply to this Question

I'm having the same problem with a guy! - We keep in touch by phone but whenever we talk about meeting up either I'm working or he's busy etc etc.
Sometimes I think people get cold feet for whatever reason - especially if they know the other person is really keen on them! - I just wish people could be straight with each other!!

 Well she wants you to come over but you should try calling her and asking her when is her next day off of work so that way you guys can hang out but it seems like she likes you. Try asking her when she gets out of work or when is her next day off see if that works every thing out. Good luck.
