Recently I have been trying to explore my body more to se what makes me tick.Anyway earlier I was masterbating whilst watching some porn, for about an hour or so. And when I felt closer to orgasm I kept on rubbing my clitoris and my legs began to shake. It culminated in much bigger 'twitches' in my vagina. Does this sound like an orgasm? LD xx

Get a proper functioning bullet or a rabbit or any smaller vibrator. They all work the same. The best is one with multiple speed choices, some low speed, medium, and faster speed. I never use top speed on my vibrators as that is just too much, so I prefer the ones that have low speeds. Preferably one you can turn to adjust just the right vibration speed, versus one with levels you need to click. If you go for a vibrator, buy one that's made of soft plastic/rubber/fake skin. Avoid hard plastic or any hard materials, they will be uncomfortable to insert.

Earlier I was masturbating and it felt like this pressure was building up and I needed to keep rubbing. Well I did and there a much bigger response from my vagina. I think I'm getting there! :) With regards to sex toys is there anything you'd recommend? I like clitoral play and penetration. I've had a bullet before but the switch didn't work properly and I could hardly take it back *blushes* I fancy a rabbit but there's to much choice! Thanks again, LD xxx

Like I always say, you know when you have an orgasm. If you have to ask, then you haven't had one. Once you've had one you will be able to differentiate between a long and strong orgasm, or a lighter shorter one. What you describe doesn't sound like an orgasm, just you getting close on on or starting to build up. It can be hard to get over that peak and have one for the first time, so keep experimenting and go with what feels nice and gives you these twitches.
Have you considered using toys or help, like the shower, or buying a vibrator? I've never been able to climax using just my hands, and find it difficult sometimes even with a toy. Perhaps you're one of us countless women who don't get an orgasm easily, and require some extra help.

Hard to say not being into your body :)- to me it sounds like pretty close but no cigar yet. An orgasm is accompanied by rythmic spasms of the pelvic floor muscles , so that would account for "twitches ". Then again,, if you have to wonder , whether is it or not, then probably it is not. Orgasmic contractions are pretty noticeable and unmistakable, - difficult to describe, but... when it happens, you KNOW it, there ' s almost no rooom for doubt, it does not feel like any other muscle contraction .
In any case, keep exploring and see what happens :)
